Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber / Pipefitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems across various construction and maintenance projects. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems in accordance with project specifications and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine piping layouts and configurations
- Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and welding apparatus to complete installations and repairs
- Conduct routine inspections of piping systems to identify leaks or faults and carry out necessary repairs
- Assemble pipe sections using appropriate fittings and fasteners, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used for each project
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians or mechanical engineers to coordinate installation activities
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and construction processes
- Skilled in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment used in pipefitting tasks
- Knowledge of assembly processes for piping systems and related components
- Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and layout work
- Ability to interpret technical instructions accurately and work independently or as part of a team
- Good understanding of maintenance procedures for plumbing infrastructure
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship

Pay: £24,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
