Position Summary

Seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Plumber's Helper to assist our plumbing, sewer, drain, and excavation technicians with residential and commercial service work. This position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in the plumbing industry and gain hands-on experience while learning from experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities for the Plumbers Helper role include:

• Assist plumbers with sewer, water main, and excavation projects.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize tools, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare work areas and protect customer property.
• Perform basic excavation, trenching, and job site cleanup.
• Safely operate hand and power tools under supervision.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites and company vehicles.
• Follow company safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Complete required paperwork and support team operations as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Construction, labor, plumbing, or mechanical experience is a plus but not required.
• Valid NYS driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate professionally.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required.

*Competitive pay based on experience and skill level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
