Job Summary

Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with safety standards and building codes.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete plumbing tasks effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Assist with carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations where necessary.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repair work.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, or repair work.
- Proficiency with welding, hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques relevant to plumbing tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with basic maths skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of carpentry principles related to plumbing installations is desirable.
- Valid driver’s licence for commercial driving is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
