Plumbing and Heating Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing and Heating Technician to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with heating systems, including boilers and HVAC units.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on heating systems.
• Conduct field service visits to assess customer needs and provide effective solutions.
• Utilize tools such as ohm meters for electrical testing and diagnostics.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work performed.

Skills

• Proven experience as a service technician in plumbing or heating.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform equipment repairs.
• Experience in construction or property maintenance is advantageous.
• Proficient in welding techniques as they relate to plumbing installations.
• Ability to work independently in the field while managing time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• A valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites.
