Plumbing Dispatcher

Job Summary

Staten Island based plumbing company looking for an experienced plumbing professional who’s ready to step into a high-impact role within our service department. This position is ideal for someone with 3+ years in the plumbing industry who has also handled dispatching, estimating and customer relations – someone who knows how to keep jobs moving, customers happy and technicians supported.

Duties

- Day-to-day service operations and scheduling

- Coordinate with office staff and ownership on workflow and priorities

- Prepare and review service estimates and job proposals

- Work closely with project management on awarded jobs

- Manage/track permit applications, filings and approvals

- Use DOB NOW and BIS systems for filings and tracking

- Prepare and submit required documentation and drawings

- Review construction documents for NYC Building Code and zoning compliance

- Coordinate with NYC DOB and other agencies

- Maintain accurate records and compliance

Skills

- 3+ years of plumbing experience

- Strong quoting and job-costing skills

- Excellent communication and customer service abilities

- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple jobs at once

- Professional, calm under pressure and solution oriented

- Strong knowledge with DOB NOW and BIS systems

- Knowledge of plumbing code requirements is a plus

- Computer skills, Excel, Word, Google Docs, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, Adobe

Pay: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
