Plumbing Engineer/Designer/Project Manager

We are seeking a PLUMBING Engineer / Designer to join our Team!

The Plumbing Engineer / Designer will be a professional, team-oriented, positive person that takes initiative, is dependable and takes pride their work.

The Primary function is to work with general supervision and direction on Plumbing Systems’ design for Educational, Healthcare, Aviation and Commercial Projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Develop and create engineering construction documents, and the design and specification of Plumbing and Piping Systems including domestic / potable water systems design, domestic hot water systems, sanitary sewer systems and storm water systems.

· Plumbing engineering calculations, equipment sizing and selection, system layout and coordination.

· Assist in the development of new standards and specifications for the Plumbing Team

· Work on multiple projects, meet project budgets and schedules

Qualifications & Experience

· Minimum +5 years of experience

· Working knowledge of Florida, Mechanical, Energy and Plumbing Building Codes, ASHRAE Standards, ANSI, NFPA and other building codes.

· Strong knowledge of Plumbing systems, means and methods, materials, and industry standards.

· Conduct quality control on projects and check the work of others for accuracy and completeness.

· Must have strong design skills using AutoCad, REVIT and Microsoft Office Suite

· Good oral and written communications skills

Education

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, EIT and / or PE preferred

· Working towards licensure

· LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
