Plumbing Estimator / Project Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plumbing Estimator / Project Manager with experience in residential construction. This dual-role position is responsible for accurately estimating plumbing systems for new construction projects while managing awarded jobs from pre-construction through completion. The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and experienced in high-volume production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating Duties:

· Prepare detailed and accurate plumbing estimates for residential residential developments

· Perform quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications

· Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to ensure complete bid coverage

· Utilize estimating software (including Bluebeam) to generate takeoffs and markups

· Solicit and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing

· Identify value engineering opportunities to maintain competitive pricing
Coordinate with builders and internal teams during the bid process

Project Management Duties:

· Manage multiple residential plumbing projects simultaneously

· Oversee job budgets, schedules, and cost controls

· Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules

· Serve as the main point of contact for builders, superintendents, and field crews

· Track project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and specifications

· Process change orders, RFIs, and submittals as needed

· Support field teams to resolve issues and maintain production flow

· Ensure all work meets company quality standards and local code requirements

Qualifications:

· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in plumbing estimating and/or project management

· Strong knowledge of residential residential construction and plumbing systems

· Proficiency in Bluebeam and other estimating/project management software

· Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

· Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with Autodesk Forma, SupplyPro, Procore, and Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook

· Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

· Experience working with production home builders

· Familiarity with California plumbing codes and regulations

· Background in high-volume residential construction environments

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
