Plumbing & Fire Fighter Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Plumbing & Fire Fighting Design Engineer with 5 years of relevant experience in MEP projects. The candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and coordinating plumbing and fire protection systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare detailed layouts for plumbing and fire fighting systems.
• Hydraulic calculations for water supply, drainage, stormwater, and fire fighting systems.
• Preparation of schematic diagrams, riser diagrams, and BOQs.
• Coordination with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with NBC, local authority, and fire department norms.
• Preparation of tender drawings and technical specifications.
• Site visits for design validation and coordination meetings.
• Review shop drawings and vendor submittals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Plumbing & Fire Fighting design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic knowledge of Revit (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic calculations and pump sizing.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (NBC, NFPA preferred).
• Good coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in high-rise residential/commercial projects.
• Exposure to working with consultants or MEP contracting firms.
• Knowledge of authority approvals in Mumbai region.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
