Job summary

The Plumbing Firefighting Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing plumbing and firefighting systems in various projects across institutional, industrial, and residential sectors. The role demands a blend of technical expertise and practical experience to meet the unique needs of each project.

Key Responsibilities

• Plumbing System Design: Design effective plumbing systems to accommodate water supply, waste, and drainage requirements for various buildings.
• Firefighting System Engineering: Develop comprehensive firefighting solutions, including sprinkler systems, hydrants, and fire pumps, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Technical Specification Development: Prepare detailed technical specifications and drawings for plumbing and firefighting systems.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and project managers to integrate systems seamlessly into the overall building design.
• Site Inspections and Troubleshooting: Conduct on-site inspections to verify system implementation aligns with design specifications and address any issues that arise during construction.
• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, HAP (Hourly Analysis Program)

Key Requirements

• Experience: 2-7 years of experience in plumbing and firefighting design engineering within the institutional, industrial, or residential sector.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in using industry-standard design software tools
• Knowledge of local and international building codes and standards
