Plumbing Foreman

A Plumbing Foreman supervises plumbing teams on job sites, ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and safety standards by reading blueprints, assigning tasks, managing materials, coordinating with other trades, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining documentation, blending hands-on skills with strong leadership to guide daily operations and project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Oversee daily plumbing activities, manage crew scheduling, and ensure work aligns with project plans and timelines.
• Technical Oversight: Interpret blueprints, install/repair systems (water, gas, drainage), and provide technical guidance.
• Team Leadership: Direct, train, and motivate junior plumbers and subcontractors, fostering good teamwork.
• Quality & Safety: Enforce safety regulations and company policies; inspect work for code compliance and quality standards.
• Logistics & Reporting: Order supplies, manage material inventory, and complete daily reports, timecards, and project documentation.
• Coordination: Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other trades (electrical, civil) to prevent conflicts.
