Duties

• Assist licensed plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools.
• Prepare work sites by cleaning, organizing materials, and setting up necessary equipment according to schematics and blueprints.
• Support pipe threading, cutting, fitting, and assembly activities to ensure precise installation of pipes and fixtures.
• Handle basic measurements and calculations to ensure proper pipe alignment and system functionality.
• Operate construction site machinery such as welding equipment, HVAC tools, or carpentry tools as directed.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to assist in accurate installation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and assisting with site cleanup and organization.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites or handyman work is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of construction plumbing, pipe threading, welding, or HVAC systems is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning plumbing techniques and schematic reading.
• Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and working at heights or in confined spaces.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and system layout.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
