Responsibilities

• Support lead plumbers with the installation of pipes, fixtures, and plumbing components according to project plans and schematics
• Assist with measuring, cutting, threading pipes using pipe threading tools, and fitting parts accurately
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to aid in assembly and installation tasks
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise work
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on-site, adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Help with the maintenance and troubleshooting of plumbing systems during installation phases
• Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects, HVAC systems, and general site maintenance to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements

• Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites, plumbing or mechanical work is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Basic knowledge of construction plumbing techniques and tools such as hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and schematics
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately
• Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of HVAC systems or general maintenance is a plus
• Strong physical stamina; able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and layout
• Handyman experience or carpentry skills are advantageous for versatile support roles on-site
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines diligently and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $18.42 - $24.41 per hour
