Plumbing Mechanic

We are a 4th generation plumbing-focused company (serving NYC for over 90 years) seeking an experienced Plumbing Mechanic for full-time service work.

Applicants must have strong plumbing experience. Boiler knowledge is required.

All work is service & repair.

• Diagnose and repair plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings
• Troubleshoot and service steam and hot water boiler systems
• Perform hands-on plumbing work including:
• Leak detection and repairs
• Domestic water piping repairs
• Fixture replacements (toilets, faucets, valves)
• Drain cleaning and stoppages
• Water heater service and replacement
• Sewer and ejector pump work
• Service boiler components such as:
• Circulator pumps
• Expansion tanks
• Zone valves
• Mixing valves
• Low water cutoffs
• Perform routine boiler maintenance and system troubleshooting
• Communicate with office staff and complete service documentation

Requirements:

Several years of plumbing service experience (REQUIRED)

Strong knowledge of general plumbing systems and repairs

Experience working on steam and hydronic boiler systems

Ability to diagnose issues independently in the field

Must be professional, reliable, and take ownership of work

Valid driver’s license
