A respected and growing commercial plumbing contractor serving the Fort Worth, Texas market is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Operations Superintendent to lead field operations and ensure the successful execution of commercial construction projects. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing jobsite performance, directing field personnel, coordinating subcontractors, and driving project success through effective planning, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day field activities for multiple commercial plumbing projects, ensuring work progresses according to project schedules and company objectives.
- Provide leadership and direction to foremen, field technicians, and subcontractors to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Verify that plumbing installations meet project specifications, construction documents, applicable codes, and contractual requirements.
- Inspect underground systems, rough-in work, piping installations, and equipment placement prior to inspections and project milestones.
- Assist with manpower forecasting, crew assignments, and production planning to support project timelines.
- Coordinate the procurement and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and labor resources to minimize delays.
- Foster a safe and organized work environment while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and trade partners to address field challenges and maintain project progress.
- Conduct routine quality assurance reviews and ensure corrective actions, punch-list items, and deficiencies are resolved promptly.
- Support testing, commissioning, inspections, and final project closeout activities.
- Monitor labor performance, installation productivity, and material consumption to maximize operational efficiency.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA standards, company safety procedures, and all jobsite safety requirements.
- Maintain detailed field records, daily reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Escalate project risks, safety concerns, equipment issues, and operational challenges to management as needed.
- Oversee the proper use, maintenance, and security of company vehicles, tools, equipment, and jobsite assets.
QualificationsTechnical Knowledge & Experience
- Extensive knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, installation methods, and construction field operations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, construction plans, and contract documents.
- Proven experience leading field crews and coordinating subcontractors on commercial construction projects.
- Thorough understanding of plumbing codes, building regulations, and industry best practices.
- Experience coordinating labor resources, project schedules, materials, and equipment logistics.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with OSHA requirements and construction safety management practices.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Five or more years of experience in commercial plumbing construction, field supervision, operations management, or related leadership positions.
- Previous experience as a Plumbing Superintendent, Senior Foreman, Construction Supervisor, or similar role strongly preferred.
- Plumbing licenses, trade certifications, OSHA credentials, or relevant technical training are considered beneficial.
