Plumbing/ Pool Pump Installer

The Company:

MGM Energy is a contractor specializing in HVAC, Plumbing, energy conservation, and electrical services. We also participate in the Energy Saving Assistance Program sponsored by Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas Company, Southwest Gas, and Bear Valley Electric.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential plumbing installations, including storage water heaters, tankless water heaters, heat pump water heaters, and pool pumps. The Plumbing Installer must understand and comply with all program guidelines, as well as county and local codes, when installing appliances. Additionally, the candidate should be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and interpret schematics. This is a permanent, full-time position with no seasonal variations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Complete certification training or any other required training
• Achieve daily production targets.
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Install storage water heaters, tankless water heaters, heat pump water heaters, and pool pumps.
• Arrive on time for scheduled appointments and come prepared.
• Possess the appropriate tools to complete jobs effectively.
• Maintain accurate customer records, files, forms, and paperwork to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Stay informed about program requirements and industry standards to ensure compliance.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, staff, and representatives from the utility company.
• Participate in routine meetings, workshops, and training sessions as directed by your supervisor.
• Uphold and represent the company's excellent image during work hours.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience installing Plumbing appliances.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid California Driver's License.
• Must have a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a plumbing installer.
• Strong communication skills are required.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Spanish speaker is a Plus
• 2 years of experience with the ESA Program is preferred.
• Must pass a seven-year background check
• Must pass a drug test.

Bakersfield, CA

Full-time (Year-Round)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 7:00 am-4:00 pm (overtime as needed)

Compensation:

$24.00-28.00 per hour
