Plumbing Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing projects.
• Conduct pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks on various piping systems.
• Diagnose issues related to plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical components to identify root causes.
• Assist with remodeling projects by applying carpentry skills and handyman experience for seamless integration of plumbing solutions.
• Operate construction site equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols; perform heavy lifting as needed.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted on each project site.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction plumbing practices and installation techniques.
• Experience with welding, pipe threading, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction site equipment.
• Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and general building maintenance.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics.
• Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting.
• Field service experience with commercial driving preferred; valid driver’s license required.

Pay: $22.00 - $32.83 per hour
