Plumbing Service Technician (Commercial)

Key Responsibilities:

• Review construction schedules, with assistance from department manager to maintain schedules to ensure timely completion of service calls.
• Coordinate project material and equipment needs, and deliveries.
• Analyzes systems and reviews findings to determine source of problem, and recommends repair, replacement, or other corrective action. Double-checks work to prevent callbacks.
• Provides on-site technical assistance to help troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Completes and forwards service tickets in a comprehensive and legible fashion.
• Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer.
• Responds to service calls in timely fashion, including after hours if assigned to provide emergency service.
• Attends schools and seminars to maintain and advance technical knowledge.
• Complies with company policies and procedures, focusing on safety compliance.

Qualifications:

• Driver’s license in good standing and good driving history is required.
• 10+ years commercial service plumbing technician experience required.
• Trade school certificate and 2 years’ experience OR 5 years on job experience as service technician.
• Ability and willing to learn and improve.
• Available to work on-call and respond immediately to plumbing emergencies.
• Able to read technical designs and blueprints.
• Expert knowledge in piping and ventilation systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
