Plumbing Sewer and Drain Technician

<Job Summary>
Join our dynamic team as a Plumbing Sewer and Drain Technician, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems. Your expertise will ensure efficient sewer and drain operations, troubleshoot complex plumbing issues, and deliver top-quality service to our clients. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your construction plumbing skills and mechanical knowledge to solve challenging problems with enthusiasm and precision.

<Responsibilities>

  • Diagnose and repair sewer lines, drains, and plumbing fixtures using a variety of hand tools and power tools.
  • Install, maintain, and replace piping systems following blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks to ensure secure connections in plumbing systems.
  • Conduct inspections of construction sites to identify potential issues and verify compliance with safety standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and HVAC plans to execute projects accurately.
  • Assist with remodeling projects by applying carpentry skills and handyman experience as needed.
  • Lift heavy materials safely while adhering to proper ergonomics; perform heavy lifting tasks regularly on-site.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, including schematics updates and project documentation.

<Skills>

  • Strong construction background with experience in construction plumbing and site work.
  • Proficient in welding, pipe threading, and assembly techniques for plumbing systems.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems and general building infrastructure.
  • Experience with remodeling, carpentry, handyman tasks, and basic math for measurements.
