Job Title - Plumbing supervisor

The Plumbing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing plumbing installation, maintenance, repair, and renovation projects. This role supervises plumbing technicians and contractors, ensures compliance with safety regulations and building codes, coordinates work schedules, and maintains high standards of workmanship and customer service for the fitout company

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of plumbing technicians and apprentices.
• Plan, assign, and monitor plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair work.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and local plumbing codes.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and work orders before execution.
• Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement of plumbing supplies and spare parts.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure workplace safety.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients regarding project requirements and schedules.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate plumbing staff to improve performance and technical skills.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Respond to emergency plumbing situations and oversee corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Trade Qualification in Plumbing or a related field.
• Minimum 4–8 years of plumbing experience in UAE, including supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, piping, drainage, water supply, and sanitation systems.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems is an advantage.
• Valid plumbing license or certification (where required).
