Plumbing Technician

The Plumbing Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems within our managed facilities in Abu Dhabi. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient, safe, and hygienic operation of plumbing infrastructure across various commercial and residential properties. The technician will perform both preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to emergency calls, and ensure all work complies with local regulations and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, sanitary fixtures, pumps).

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.

- Diagnose and clear leaks, clogs, and system malfunctions.

- Respond promptly to emergency plumbing breakdowns.

- Utilize CAFM systems for work order management and reporting.

- Adhere strictly to all safety (HSE) policies and local plumbing codes.

- Communicate effectively with clients, company engineers, and other team members.

- Read and understand plumbing layout drawings and technical plans.

Qualifications:

- Diploma or ITI Certificate in Plumbing or Pipefitting.

- Minimum of 3 years of relevant plumbing experience (facility management in UAE preferred).

- Strong technical skills in plumbing diagnostics and repair.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Experience with CAFM software is a plus.

- Proficiency in English.

- Valid UAE Driving License is a plus.
