Grill/Line/Prep Cook - Responsibilities include:

• Produce the highest quality food with precision and accuracy, continually observing and implementing the proper quality-assurance and food-safety procedures
• You will be able to follow instructions as well as all health and safety rules in the kitchen. The ideal candidate will also be able to function in a fast-paced, busy environment as a part of a team
• Prior experience as a cook is not required but preferred
• Tips are part of overall pay of employee and are paid out each paycheck
• YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE SUNDAY OFF SINCE WE ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAY

At Backyard Taco we aim to hire friendly, personable, energetic and attentive workers. Team Members must adhere to strict health and safety guidelines at all times. For the Cashier position basic math skills at the cash register are also required. Training generally lasts between a few days and a couple weeks and involves both visual and verbal orientation. We also plan to train you at our existing locations in Gilbert or Chandler prior to going over to the Queen Creek location.

The minimum hiring age at Backyard Taco is 17. Candidates looking for leadership/manager positions with Backyard Taco need to be at least 18 years of age and have proven capabilities as leaders. We promote all our Managers from within.

Typical start time: Days (8 AM); Nights (4 PM)

Typical end time: Days - 4 PM; Nights - 1 hour after Close
