Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sous Chef to lead and oversee culinary operations within a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management and team leadership, ensuring seamless execution of events and daily dining services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape exceptional guest experiences through meticulous planning, efficient team coordination, and innovative culinary oversight. The PM Sous will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and service excellence while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Duties

  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of food production, food preparation and cleaning to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and culinary teams to ensure smooth shift operations, adherence to safety protocols, and high-quality food presentation.
  • Oversee inventory control, food handling, and procurement processes to optimize costs and minimize waste.
  • Develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating dietary requirements and fine dining standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all departments.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to maintain consistent quality and timely delivery of ingredients and supplies.

Skills

  • Supervising experience in a fast-paced food service or hospitality setting.
  • Expertise in food production, kitchen management, and culinary techniques including cooking and food preparation.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Experience with attention to detail in presentation and service standards.
  • Proficiency in inventory management, control systems, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and health regulations within the food industry.
  • Experience managing restaurant or hospitality operations with a focus on food service management.
