PMHNP-BC opportunity

Overview
We are excited to offer a flexible PMHNP-BC (Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified) opportunity for the right candidate. This role allows for autonomy through supplemental remote work providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, psychotherapy, and medication management through an established practice.

Duties

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, including patient history, mental status examinations, and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10 and CPT coding standards.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating medication management, psychotherapy, and behavioral interventions aligned with best practices.
• Provide patient education on mental health conditions, medication administration, lifestyle modifications, and wellness strategies including health coaching.
• Provider will actively engage with the community to promote professional services under SBM, Inc., including but not limited to community-based organizations, hospitals, medical groups, and other providers, to increase the number of clients that are evaluated and treated by the PMHNP provider.

Requirements

• Valid CA PMHNP-BC certification with active licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in adult psychiatric-mental health.
• Demonstrated experience working working as an independent telehealth provider providing mental health care.
• Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems, communications, and telehealth platforms.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding systems, CPT procedures, and medical documentation standards for various insurances or private pay clients compliant with HIPAA regulations.

Pay: $80.00 - $120.00 per hour
