PMHNP Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care to patients across the lifespan, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as medical imaging and laboratory tests
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Administer vaccinations and immunizations
- Provide patient education on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Utilize electronic health record systems (such as Cerner) for documentation and communication

Skills:
- Ability to provide care for patients with special needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
