The Role
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Day to day coordination of the Technical Department administration as assigned by the Technical Manager Sending Overdue job count to all vessels on the 1st week of every month. • Provide CFM training & familiarization to new employees and new Crew. • Check replication issues in office and vessel systems. Check import /export files. Any discrepancies • Any other tasks as directed by the Technical Manager • Provide oversight to junior data entry team members • Check the running hours every month and report to the vessel if the data is wrongly updated. • Monitoring vessel spare parts purchased history, location, and inventory updates.
Requirements
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • Familiar with preventive maintenance system. • Minimum 2 years of experience as Junior Engineer or Third Engineer • Experience on similar vessel type preferred (e.g., AHTS, DP2, Barge, Tanker, OSV). EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • Technical education (Engineering Diploma, 3rd Engineer License or Equivalent) • Preferred STCW Regulation III/1 – OICEW Certificate (Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch) COMPETENCIES • Asset management experience and ability to coordinate activities. • Teamwork and personnel management skills. • Good understanding of marine auxiliary machinery. • Strong safety awareness and compliance mindset. • Ability to follow instructions and technical department hierarchy.
