Podcast Editor and Production Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Podcast Editor and Production Assistant to join our creative team. You will collaborate closely with hosts and content creators to bring compelling stories to life through expert editing, sound design, and seamless post-production processes. Duties

• Edit podcast recordings using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid to ensure polished and professional audio output
• Manage post-production tasks including sound mixing, noise reduction, audio leveling, and adding music or sound effects to enhance listener experience
• Assist with recording sessions by setting up equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and capturing high-quality audio footage
• Coordinate content scheduling, file management, and version control through content management systems and FTP platforms for efficient workflow
• Create engaging visual assets using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools to support promotional efforts
• Collaborate on motion graphics and video snippets utilizing Adobe After Effects or Cinema 4D for social media promotion and episode highlights
• Support overall content creation efforts by filming video segments or interviews as needed and managing digital assets with Adobe Bridge or Capture One

Qualifications

• Proven experience in audio and video editing and post-production with a strong portfolio of podcast or media projects
• Proficiency in editing software including Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, and Adobe After Effects
• Skilled in photo editing and graphic design using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and related tools
• Knowledge of video production techniques such as filming, videography, motion graphics, and 3D animation (Cinema 4D or Maya) is highly desirable
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), FTP platforms, and digital asset organization
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines with enthusiasm
