Podcast Editor / Producer

Healing Grounds Wellness Center is seeking a skilled Podcast Editor/Producer to support our established podcast, Soul Conversations with Z: Healing in the Raw, hosted by licensed therapist and founder, Zachyra Rodriguez. This role is ideal for someone with experience in podcast production or a student studying media, communications, audio production, or a related field who is looking to build their portfolio while contributing to a meaningful mental health and wellness platform.

Responsibilities

• Record and edit podcast episodes, ensuring professional audio and video quality.
• Set up, operate, and maintain podcasting equipment during recording sessions.
• Provide post-production editing, including sound balancing, cutting, transitions, and final polishing.
• Upload and organize completed episodes for publishing.
• Create short clips or highlights for promotional purposes.
• Collaborate with the host on episode flow, quality improvement, and production needs.
• Ensure episodes are completed and delivered according to the publishing schedule.

Requirements

• Experience with podcast editing and production, or enrollment in a related degree program (Media, Communications, Audio Engineering, Digital Production, etc.).
• Familiarity with audio and video editing software.
• Ability to provide samples of previous work (student projects are welcome).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Reliable communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with YouTube and podcast hosting platforms is preferred.

Compensation

$75 per episode (includes recording and post-production editing).
