Position: Podcast Producer & Multimedia Content Creator

The Welfare Check Podcast is seeking a creative, detail-oriented producer to assist with podcast production, video editing, graphic design, audio quality control, and content creation.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, media production, and building a growing podcast brand from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

Monitor cameras and recording equipment during production

Ensure audio and video quality throughout recording sessions

Operate ATEM Mini Pro and production equipment

Edit podcast episodes for YouTube and audio platforms

Create thumbnails, graphics, promotional assets, and social media content

Assist with episode planning, creative direction, and visual branding

Organize media files, footage, and project assets

Collaborate on content strategy and audience growth

Preferred Skills:

Videography and camera operation

Video editing (DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, etc.)

Graphic design (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator)

Audio editing and sound enhancement

Understanding of YouTube content and podcast production

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems

Bonus Skills:

Motion graphics

Photography

Social media management

YouTube optimization

Live production experience

Compensation:

Project-based or per-episode compensation. Opportunity to grow into a larger role as the podcast expands.

Location:

Metro Atlanta preferred. Hybrid and remote editing options available.
