Affiliated Foot and Ankle Surgeons is seeking a reliable, patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our busy podiatry practice in New Haven, CT. This is a full-time, in-person position offering competitive hourly pay, excellent benefits, and a consistent weekday schedule.

We are looking for a Medical Assistant with strong clinical skills, EMR experience, and a professional, team-oriented attitude.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities

• Prepare and sanitize exam rooms for podiatry patient visits
• Take and document vital signs, weight, and medical history updates
• Assist podiatrist with in-office procedures and minor surgical treatments
• Enter patient data accurately into EMR system (Epic experience preferred)
• Process referrals, orders, and clinical documentation
• Provide excellent customer service and compassionate patient care

Medical Assistant Qualifications

• 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience required
• 1+ year in podiatry or specialty practice preferred
• EMR/EHR experience required (Epic highly preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to reliably commute to New Haven, CT
