Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Podiatrist to join our expanding team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated, well-trained surgeon to work across multiple locations in South Carolina and North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a wide range of podiatric surgeries and prepared to participate in a call rotation with other providers. Hospital privileges will also need to be obtained to support surgical activities. Join our collaborative team and play a key role in providing high-quality care to our growing patient base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of foot and ankle conditions
  • Perform a wide range of podiatric surgical procedures, including both elective and emergency surgeries
  • Collaborate with fellow podiatrists and healthcare staff to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations

Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 coding/billing

  • Obtain and maintain hospital privileges at local medical facilities
  • Participate in a shared call rotation with other podiatric providers
  • Stay current with the latest techniques, technologies, and trends in the field of podiatry through continuing education
  • Educate patients about surgical options, post-operative care, and recovery plans
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from an accredited institution
  • Board Certification (or eligibility) in Podiatric Surgery
  • Strong experience in podiatric surgery, including both elective and emergency procedures
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Active Podiatric Medical License in South Carolina or North Carolina (or ability to obtain)
  • Hospital privileges (or ability to obtain) at local medical facilities
  • Participation in a call rotation with other providers
