Podiatrist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various foot and ankle disorders, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. The Podiatrist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and enhance overall foot health.

Duties

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' foot and ankle conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical options.
• Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, and botulinum toxin treatment as needed.
• Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with specialists in areas such as endocrinology, cardiology, and orthopedics to provide integrated care.
• Educate patients on foot health, preventive measures, and post-operative care.
• Stay current with advancements in podiatry through clinical research and continuous education.

Skills

• Proficient in using EMR systems for patient management.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to podiatry.
• Experience with medical imaging techniques such as CT and diagnostic radiology.
• Familiarity with critical care practices and perioperative care protocols.
• Ability to perform patient assessments, triage, and develop comprehensive care plans.
• Knowledge of various specialties including dermatology, gastroenterology, and pediatrics is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient service and education.

Pay: From $50.00 per hour
