Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and disorders.
Duties:
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' foot conditions
- Diagnose and treat various foot and ankle ailments
- Perform surgical procedures when necessary
- Provide patient education on foot health and preventive care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper data management
Experience:
- Experience in patient care with a focus on podiatry
- Proficiency in esthetic laser treatment for foot conditions
- Knowledge of discharge planning post-surgery
- Experience in inpatient podiatric care
- Familiarity with plastic surgery implications on foot health
- Understanding of pulmonology as it relates to podiatric conditions
- Exposure to labor delivery issues affecting foot health
- Ability to handle urgent care podiatric cases effectively
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) related to podiatry
The successful candidate must possess a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree and have completed a residency program. Board certification is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, empathy, and a passion for improving patients' quality of life are essential for this role.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
