Position Summary:

Watts Healthcare Corporation seeks an accomplished Podiatrist to enhance our outpatient clinic team by delivering cutting-edge podiatric treatments and procedures. This role is pivotal in offering exceptional foot and ankle care to a diverse patient demographic, with a focus on assessing and addressing individual patient needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a robust dedication to patient-centered care, exhibit superior clinical acumen, and seamlessly integrate into a multidisciplinary team environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive podiatric care encompassing the diagnosis, treatment, and management of various foot and ankle conditions.
  • Clinical Procedures: Execute in-office procedures, including wound care, nail and skin surgeries, and orthotic fittings with precision.
  • Chronic Disease Management: Oversee the podiatric facets of chronic conditions such as diabetes, ensuring preventive care and addressing complications.
  • Patient Education: Provide thorough education to patients and their families regarding foot care, preventive strategies, and treatment protocols.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous and prompt medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
  • Quality Improvement: Engage in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practice guidelines and clinical standards.
  • Professional Development: Pursue ongoing education and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in podiatric medicine.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid and unrestricted podiatric medical license in the state of California.
  • Certification: Board certified or board eligible in podiatric medicine and surgery.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Expertise in clinical podiatric procedures, exceptional diagnostic capabilities, and strong patient communication skills.
  • Attributes: Demonstrates compassion, a patient-centric approach, and the ability to thrive as a collaborative team member committed to high-quality healthcare delivery.

Working Conditions:

  • Schedule: Flexible scheduling to accommodate the needs of the clinic and patients.
  • Environment: Operate within a supportive and collaborative outpatient clinic setting. The private office is clean and comfortable, though minor annoyances such as noise, odors, and drafts may occur. The role permits freedom of movement within a non-confined space.

Pay: Up to $135,000.00 per year
