We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. This role involves diagnosing and treating conditions related to the foot, ankle, and lower extremities, while also collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and lower extremities to diagnose conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary for various podiatric conditions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patient interactions.
- Collaborate with other specialists, including those in ophthalmology, urology, and pediatrics, to provide holistic care.
- Stay current with advancements in podiatry and related fields through ongoing research and professional development.
- Educate patients on foot health, preventive care, and post-treatment rehabilitation.
Requirements
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state license to practice podiatry.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and respiratory therapy as it relates to podiatric care.
- Experience in airway management is a plus.
- Familiarity with medical records management systems.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- A commitment to ongoing education and research in the field of podiatry.
