Our innovative House Calls program provides primary and specialty care directly to patients in their homes, ensuring access for individuals who are homebound or have limited mobility.

Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Podiatrist to join our House Calls team. This role involves traveling to patients’ homes to provide comprehensive foot and ankle care, often to elderly, chronically ill, or mobility-limited individuals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive podiatric evaluations and foot care in patients’ homes.
• Diagnose and treat foot and ankle conditions, including infections, wounds, and musculoskeletal issues.
• Perform routine diabetic foot care, nail care, and callus removal.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate with primary care physicians, specialists, and care managers.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Provide patient education on foot health, wound prevention, and self-care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school.
• Current NY State podiatry license and DEA registration.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for house call visits.
• Experience working with geriatric or homebound patients preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
