Podiatry Specialist / Nurse Practitioner – Wound Care Clinical Research Caribbean Health Research Ce

Caribbean Health Research Center (CHRC) is seeking a qualified Podiatry Specialist or Nurse Practitioner to support wound care clinical research studies, with a strong focus on diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) management.

We are looking for a clinician with experience in wound care assessments, diabetic foot management, and sharp debridement, who is interested in contributing to clinical trials and helping provide high-quality care to research participants.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and manage patients participating in wound care clinical trials
  • Perform sharp debridement as clinically indicated and within scope of practice
  • Conduct wound assessments and document findings accurately
  • Assist with study-related visits, safety oversight, and protocol compliance
  • Work closely with the research team, including investigators and coordinators
  • Support timely and accurate source documentation and study records

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Podiatry Specialist or Nurse Practitioner authorized to practice in Puerto Rico
  • Required experience performing sharp debridement
  • Experience in wound care and diabetic foot ulcer management strongly preferred
  • Clinical research experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocol requirements
  • Professional communication skills in Spanish; English proficiency preferred

Pay: $70.00 - $100.00 per hour
