Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated <PERSON> (4th & 5th Grade) Teacher to inspire and guide young learners through their academic journey. Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for 4th and 5th grade students, incorporating literacy education, math, science, social studies, and arts.
  • Utilize innovative learning technology tools to enhance classroom engagement and support diverse learning styles.
  • Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies, creating a safe and respectful environment conducive to learning.
  • Conduct assessments, including standardized testing preparations, to monitor student progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
  • Provide individualized tutoring and support for students with special needs or those requiring early intervention services.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school initiatives, and extracurricular activities such as physical education and library services.
  • Mentor students by fostering social-emotional skills, encouraging positive interactions, and supporting children with autism or other special needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral incidents in compliance with education administration standards.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, achievements, and areas for growth through clear and professional channels.

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience working with elementary-aged children in grades 4 and 5 is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across core subjects including literacy education, math, science, and social studies.
  • Experience working with children with diverse needs such as special education or early childhood development is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with teaching physical education, tutoring techniques, and classroom management strategies is essential.
  • Knowledge of learning technology tools and digital resources to support instruction is required.
  • Previous private school experience or Montessori teaching background will be considered a strong plus.

Pay: $50,033.13 - $60,254.95 per year
