Minimum Requirements: Associate's degree (A. A.) in criminal justice. Benefits: The Long Prairie Police Department has a seven-step wage scale of $31.73 to $39.69, with yearly cost of living increase and shift differential pay. With experience, officers may be placed in the appropriate step. Excellent benefit package single health insurance is paid entirely; family coverage and dental is supplemented by the City.
