Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of ponds, waterfalls, fountains, and other water features with precision and care
• Coordinate daily outdoor work activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and projects stay on schedule
• Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, gardening, pruning, and general horticulture to support water feature health and aesthetics
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper water flow and system functionality for all water features
• Supervise a team of landscape technicians, providing guidance on landscaping techniques, construction methods, and equipment use
• Conduct site inspections to assess project progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines for efficient project management

Skills

• Extensive experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, and horticulture practices
• Proven supervising experience in outdoor or construction environments with leadership skills to motivate teams
• Strong knowledge of lawn care, gardening techniques, tree care, irrigation systems, and general outdoor maintenance
• Familiarity with pond construction, water feature installation, and water management systems (e.g., pumps, filters)
• Ability to interpret blueprints or technical drawings related to water features and landscape layouts
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members effectively
• Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; attention to safety procedures is essential
