Wimberley Inn + Bar is seeking a seasonal Pool Bartender to join our team for Summer 2026. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, working outdoors, and creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere for both hotel guests and locals.

This is a seasonal position running from May 21 through September 5, with scheduled shifts on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11am-7pm.

Compensation is $15/hour + tips.

The Pool Bartender is responsible for providing friendly, attentive service while maintaining a clean, organized, and professional pool bar environment. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, personable, team-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

### Responsibilities

- Greet and serve guests at the pool bar and pool deck in a professional and welcoming manner

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipe and service standards

- Take guest orders and handle credit card transactions accurately

- Assist with running food from the kitchen when needed

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool bar, including shelving, bar wells, mixers, stainless surfaces, glassware, and workstations

- Empty trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift

- Restock product and ensure proper storage and rotation of inventory

- Communicate effectively with fellow staff members and management

- Operate bar equipment safely and efficiently

- Maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus, ingredients, and available inventory

- Follow all property policies, procedures, and grooming standards

- Perform additional duties as assigned by management

### Requirements

- Must be at least 18 years old

- Current TABC Certification required

- Weekend and holiday availability required

- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in summer temperatures

- Prior bartending or hospitality experience preferred, but not required

- Positive attitude and strong guest service skills are a must
