Pool Designer/Sales

Overview
The Blue Lagoons Pools has serviced the DFW Area for the previous 20 years. The company is located in Rowlett with projects including new pool builds, pool remodels, backyard renovations and leak detection. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Pool Designer/Sales professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating customized pool designs that meet client needs and preferences, while also guiding customers through the sales process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine creativity with customer service and sales expertise in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor living spaces, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for pool projects
• Design customized pool layouts and outdoor living features using pool studio
• Present design concepts to clients, explaining features and benefits effectively
• Guide clients through the sales process, including product selection and financing options
• Provide detailed project estimates and timelines to clients
• Collaborate with installation teams to ensure designs are accurately executed
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle to ensure satisfaction
• Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and innovative design ideas to enhance client proposals

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service and sales, preferably within the pool or outdoor living industry
• Strong design skills with proficiency in design software or artistic drawing abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
• Ability to understand client needs and translate them into compelling design solutions
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement
• Valid driver’s license is preferred for client meetings and site visits
• A passion for outdoor spaces, landscaping, or pool design is a plus
