Pool Repair Manager

The Role

The Pool Repair Manager oversees all aspects of the branch repair team, ensuring operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. You’ll lead a team of technicians and coordinators, manage scheduling and routing, optimize repair processes, and maintain high service quality standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the branch repair department’s performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Manage day-to-day operations: scheduling, routing, and workload optimization
  • Hire, train, develop, and coach your team to perform at their best
  • Quote repair work, including diagnostics and break-fix services, ensuring profitable margins
  • Oversee inventory, parts ordering, and supplier relationships
  • Resolve escalated customer issues with professionalism and a focus on retention
  • Track KPIs, analyze performance metrics, and implement improvements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and communication
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and company standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Repair Technician or Repair Coordinator is highly desirable

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; college preferred
  • Minimum 1-year managerial experience; 3+ years in the pool service or home services industry preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and at least 3 years of verifiable history
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test

Physical & Environmental Considerations

  • Primarily office-based with regular field interaction
  • Requires sitting, standing, walking, and operating office equipment; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Exposure to outdoor work conditions, seasonal weather, and pool environments

Environmental Conditions:

General Office Environment: Noise level in office environment is generally quiet.

Outdoor Service Environment: Position will be exposed to various work conditions, at a variety of client settings. Indoor conditions may have dust, heat, cold, noise, etc. Outdoor conditions may include exposure to the outdoor elements, seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions, and hot conditions. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

Physical Requirements:

If performing office duties: Employee is required to sit, stand, hear, and use hands to operate all office equipment. Employee must view computer monitors for long periods of time. Vision requirements are close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Employee occasionally will be required to lift, generally no more than 25 pounds.
