Pool Server

Overview
Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Pool Server, where you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive and friendly service at our poolside dining area. This energetic position offers the opportunity to create memorable moments for guests while showcasing your food service skills in a lively, upscale environment. As a Pool Server, you will be responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction through prompt service, accurate order handling, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their poolside dining experience
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient order entry and processing
• Serve food and drinks promptly, upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation and handling as needed, supporting kitchen staff to deliver quality dishes
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience
• Support reservation management through platforms like OpenTable when applicable, and coordinate with team members for seamless service flow

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order accuracy
• Experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles within the food industry is highly desirable
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a dynamic environment
