Pool Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pool Technician to join our property management team. The Pool Technician will be responsible for maintaining swimming pools, spas, and related equipment at residential and commercial properties managed by our company. This position plays a key role in ensuring pools remain clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine pool maintenance, including cleaning, vacuuming, skimming, brushing, and water testing.
• Monitor and adjust pool chemical levels to maintain proper water quality and safety standards.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and automated systems.
• Identify maintenance issues and report repair needs to management.
• Maintain accurate service records, chemical logs, and inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Respond to service requests and emergency maintenance situations as needed.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
• Communicate professionally with property managers, residents, vendors, and team members.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pool maintenance, pool service, or a related maintenance field preferred.
• Knowledge of pool chemistry, filtration systems, and equipment operation.
• Ability to diagnose and perform basic repairs on pool equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is a plus but not required.
