As a Poolside Bartender, you’ll be at the heart of the action, serving signature cocktails and fine wines while delivering an incredible guest experience. If you thrive in a high-energy, guest-focused environment, this is the job for you!
Compensation: Guaranteed base hourly of $16.90 - earn up to $34.00 hourly based on performance!
**Compensation beyond the guaranteed based hourly rate is earned from tips and commissions which are not guaranteed, but possible as shown by some of our current associate paychecks.
Schedule: Seasonal (May–October), weekends and holidays required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Break down and set up bar daily.
- Greet guests with a warm, upbeat attitude.
- Craft and serve cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Recommend drinks and upsell wine and cocktail selections.
- Sell wine club memberships.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
- Process payments quickly and accurately.
- Work with the team to ensure seamless service.
- Ensure guest and associate safety at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your Manager.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- 1-3 years of bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
- Ability to use TOCK Reservation and TOAST POS systems.
- Outgoing, friendly, and guest-focused personality.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift 40-50 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable working 100% outdoors.
- Ability to work the entirety of the season (May-October).
- Must have or obtain a Riverside County Food Handler’s Card and ABC Responsible Beverage Service certification.
