As a Population Health Informaticist, you'll apply your expertise in health data, analytics, and public health strategy to evaluate and improve AI models that work with population-level information. Your domain knowledge will directly shape how AI understands health trends, disparities, and outcomes across communities.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role — work on your schedule, on projects that matter.

What You'll Do

Evaluate AI-generated population health content, analysis, and insights for accuracy, completeness, and real-world applicability

Review and assess data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting frameworks modeled by AI for quality and soundness

Identify gaps, errors, or misleading interpretations in AI outputs related to population health metrics and surveillance

Provide structured expert feedback that helps AI systems better understand health disparities, community-level trends, and intervention strategies

Translate your domain knowledge into clear, actionable evaluations that improve AI model performance in public health contexts
Who You Are

Experienced working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets

Strong analytical thinker with the ability to evaluate data quality, methodology, and interpretation

Skilled in data visualization and reporting — familiar with dashboards and analytics tools

Able to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely

Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on asynchronous tasks

No prior AI or machine learning experience required
Nice to Have

Experience with epidemiology, health equity research, or community health programs

Background in data annotation, quality assurance, or evaluation systems

Familiarity with public health surveillance frameworks or clinical data standards (e.g., ICD codes, HL7, FHIR)
