Population Health Informaticist (AI Training)
About The Role
We're partnering with leading AI research teams to build smarter, more accurate health AI — and we need population health experts to help get it right. As a Population Health Informaticist, you'll apply your expertise in health data and analytics to evaluate, shape, and improve AI systems designed to understand and act on population-level health information.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. Work on your schedule, on projects that matter.

What You'll Do

Evaluate AI-generated population health analyses for accuracy, completeness, and clinical relevance

Review and assess data pipelines, dashboards, and health reporting frameworks produced by AI systems

Identify gaps, errors, or missed insights in AI outputs related to health trends, disparities, and community outcomes

Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves how AI models reason about population health

Apply your domain knowledge to help AI understand complex public health concepts, surveillance data, and intervention strategies
Who You Are

Experienced working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets

Strong analytical thinker with the ability to evaluate data quality and identify meaningful patterns

Skilled in data visualization and health reporting — familiar with dashboards and surveillance tools

Able to translate complex health data into clear, actionable insights

Detail-oriented and comfortable working independently on structured tasks
Nice to Have

Background in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health informatics, or health policy

Experience with data annotation, quality assurance, or evaluation workflows

Familiarity with EHR systems, claims data, or social determinants of health datasets

Prior work with AI or machine learning projects in a health context
