About the Role:

The Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of retail environments to ensure a positive customer experience. This position is responsible for supporting store operations by managing the upkeep of floors, restrooms, and common areas, as well as assisting with the movement and arrangement of merchandise. The Porter contributes to a safe and welcoming atmosphere by promptly addressing spills, debris, and other hazards. This role requires a proactive approach to facility maintenance and collaboration with store staff to support daily operational needs. Ultimately, the Porter helps uphold the store’s standards of excellence, directly impacting customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Basic understanding of cleaning and maintenance procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and management.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Good driving record

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of all retail areas including floors, restrooms, entrances, and stockrooms by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Assist with the unloading, moving, and organizing of merchandise and supplies to support sales floor readiness and inventory management.
• Monitor and promptly address safety hazards such as spills, obstructions, or damaged fixtures to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
• Support store staff by setting up displays, arranging carts, and performing other tasks that facilitate smooth daily operations.
• Report maintenance issues or supply shortages to management to ensure timely resolution and uninterrupted store functionality.
