Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Porter to support day-to-day shop operations. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining our facility, assisting technicians, and ensuring vehicles move through our production process efficiently.
This position is an ideal entry point for someone who wants to develop into an Entry-Level Technician within Pro-Fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Auto Detailing: Clean and prep vehicles before and after upfitting (interior and exterior).
• Vehicle Movement: Safely move vehicles around the lot and inside the shop.
• Technician Support: Assist technicians with basic tasks, parts retrieval, and workflow efficiency.
• Shop Organization: Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• General Facility Cleaning: Sweep, empty trash, and keep the shop presentable for customers and staff.
• Inventory/Parts Help: Light support for receiving, staging, or organizing parts when needed.
• Additional Duties: Assist the management team with miscellaneous tasks that keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet.
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset.
• Interest in automotive work or public-safety vehicles is a plus.
