Porter (Seasonal)

The holiday season is approaching at Uncle Giuseppe’s!
We are seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Porter for our North Babylon store.

This position runs November through the first week of January 2026 and pays $21.05/hour. (Seasonal roles do not include company benefits.)

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the parking lot, carts, restrooms, lobbies, and other assigned areas

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect as needed

• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies; notify management when items are low

• Assist customers with a friendly and helpful attitude

• Support store operations with tasks such as receiving packages or moving items

• Report safety hazards, complaints, and issues to management

Qualifications

• Strong cleaning skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Physical stamina; able to lift up to 30 lbs (more with assistance)

• Dependable, observant, and customer-friendly

Working Conditions

• Frequent walking, standing, and physical movement

• Possible exposure to temperature changes and cleaning agents

• Indoor/outdoor work around equipment and machinery
